Exploring homes may uncover clues, although entering places where you are not welcome can damage relationships if you are caught. Apparently, “I was looking for evidence” does not make breaking into your neighbor's bedroom socially acceptable.

This changing town structure should make repeat playthroughs feel meaningfully different. A new killer creates a different campaign, while previous choices determine which character stories you ever get to see.

Is Grave Seasons Actually a Cozy Game?

Grave Seasons contains farming, decorating, crafting, romance and community building, but it is not designed to be completely gentle. The developers have made it clear that the horror is not being watered down to keep the game traditionally cozy. There will be murder scenes, blood, unsettling environments and serious consequences.

The farming portions instead act as relief between the darker events. You can return to familiar routines, work on your land and build relationships, but the threat never completely disappears.
